203 million visits in 2020

Listindiario.com has once again broken audience record in 2020, a year in which, like never before, the digital channel became the main source of news consumption.

After a sustained average rate of 18 million visits each month to our digital pages, being the highest in March with 24,601,408, the sum of access as of December 31 was higher than 203 million.

This means a growth of 24.19 percent compared to 2019.

The sections with the highest reading level were La Republica, generally news with greater depth, value and context, followed by Sports and Entertainment.

It is worth mentioning that, throughout the pandemic, we diversified our content with an attractive menu of specials, such as The Touch of 9, for digital networks.

Every night, from Monday to Saturday, we present programs of a different nature, more accentuated in the factor of education about health and Covid, movies, comedy shows, lifestyle spaces and cases of successful young people.

One of our most relevant achievements was to consolidate Listindiario.com as the most visited website in the Dominican Republic, only surpassed by Google and YouTube. We are among the first thousand portals in the world that hold this merit.

These results are a reflection of our commitment to the quality of digital content, transferring the best of the informational assets of the printed LISTIN DIARIO and adjusting them to the new models and innovations of journalism on the web.

Our editions in pdf format on Saturdays and Sundays, plus the special ones on topics of higher education, Covid-19, tourism, economy and research reports, showed us that there is still a fertile field to respond to the requirements of our audiences, including the networks social.

As a finishing touch to close this day of successes, Listindiario.com has been awarded as “Best digital newspaper 2020” in our country and who subscribes as “National Prize for Digital Journalism”, awards that make us proud and encourage us to continue in this fascinating commitment to modernity.

Thanks everyone!
